I had a lovely stay at Boutique Casa Los Cantaros, a quaint hotel away from the hustle of the center. While the location is a bit distant, it didn't bother us as we were busy exploring. The highlight was definitely the friendly service and the experiences we had during our stay. However, if you're after quick access to the main attractions, this might not be ideal.

The rooms were spacious but could use some updates. I did notice some older furniture, which made it feel less comfortable.
Service
9.0
The personal attention from the staff was admirable, always ready to help and cater to our needs. Airport pickup was seamless, enhancing our experience.
Location
6.0
Although it's a bit far from the central tourist areas, the surrounding neighborhood was upscale and pleasant. The need for transport to get around is a downside for short stays.
Dining

Dining options nearby had their pros and cons; Mesquite was delightful, while La Bisnaga was a mixed bag – amazing food but let down by slow service.
Facilities

The hotel amenities were decent but could use some improvement, especially the showers which had some issues.

I had a lovely stay at this boutique hotel, where the personal attention from Cristina and her team truly made a difference. The location is quite convenient, especially for those studying Spanish, as it’s just a quick walk to the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca. However, I noticed that the rooms were somewhat dated, and the noise from the nearby avenue can be bothersome at times.

The rooms were spacious but in need of some updates. The furniture felt old, and the bathroom setup wasn't ideal as water would splatter everywhere.
Service

The service was the highlight of my stay. Cristina went above and beyond, even picking me up from the airport, and the staff was always ready to help.

The hotel is situated in the upscale Reforma neighborhood, which is a beautiful area, although it can be a bit far from the bustling Centro. It’s conveniently close to the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca, making it great for language students.
Dining

While I did not have breakfast at the hotel, I enjoyed dining experiences nearby, particularly at Mesquite and La Bisnaga, where the food was excellent.

The hotel has a charming aesthetic with art installations, but the amenities could be enhanced, especially the bathroom facilities.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was quite pleasant, thanks to the amazing staff who provided excellent attention and support. The location is ideal, especially if you're planning to take Spanish classes nearby, although it's a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist spots. The room was spacious, but it could use a bit more modern touch. The overall experience was great, just be aware of the noise from the street outside.

I had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel, where the personal attention from Cristina and her staff made all the difference. The location is unbeatable, with the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca right across the street and the beautiful Reforma neighborhood offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy Centro. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, but there was some past construction nearby that had concluded, leaving the area nice. Overall, a fantastic value for the price, though I wouldn't want to stay in the old neighborhoods around it.
